In Club Competitions Categories – the Rules and explanations!!

• “ I Don’t Use Digital Image Software!!”

  • No digital imaging software was used. Period!!  Cropping will be allowed.

• “Tell Me A Story”  

  • Photojournalism style images with a small write up of 30 words or less to tell us the story.

• “Monochrome, Baby!!”

  • Black and white, selenium toned, sepia toned, any monotone will be accepted.

• “Collage It”

  • A theme of 3-6 4x6 images displayed on a single page.

• “Into the Wild(life)”

  • Wild animals in their natural surroundings.

• “My Best Friend(s)”  

  • Domestic animals we live with.

• “Make Arrangements” 

  • Inanimate objects arranged by the photographer to represent the subject matter in the best possible way.

• “I Love Saskatchewan” 

  • Landscape images taken in Saskatchewan.

• “I’ve Been Everywhere, Man!” 

  • Landscape images taken outside of Saskatchewan.

•  “Can I Take Your Picture?”  

  • Portraits taken in a studio or outdoors.

•  “In Style” 

  • Fashion/Glamour images, similar to what we see in magazines.

•  “Take Time To Smell The Roses”

  • Flowers and any plant life.

•  “What Is It?” 

  • Macro, close-up or abstract images that make us ask, “What is that?”

•  “Where Does This Image Belong??” 

  • A true Open category.  If you can’t find a category for an image this is where it should go.

• “WOW”

  • Be creative, anything goes.  Any amount of digital images and digital imaging is acceptable.  Just make sure we will say “wow”!!
