2012 Program now UPDATED!!!February 7th, 2012This week’s meeting is titled “Photoshop Night” and the timing of this couldn’t be better. First, this demo will be a small slice of what you have a chance to learn at the Photoshop Workshops on Feb 25th and 26th http://members.reginaphotoclub.com/workshops.htm Second, the timing of the “Theme” for the second in-club and this meeting couldn’t be better. A good portion of one demo will be around the creation of Photos for this theme. In addition there will presentations given by members within the club who are “new members” and these individuals will be giving demos on what processes they use to display their art. Third, In the future one of the meetings that is labeled “To Be Announced” will now be announced as “5 X 5” which has a huge dependant on digital manipulation. At this point that is all I can and will tell you about this meeting, you’ll have to come see for yourself!!! Fourth, RPC has been given a challenge which I will explain after one of my demos. Please don’t let me forget because this could be a lot of fun. Lastly, I’ve contacted a few individuals that indicated in the past they wanted to present this evening. This is an “Open Forum” and this is your club, so if you want to present please feel free to do so. You can either bring you own PC or bring a flash drive with your images and at your disposal will at least be PS CS4 and Photomatix (these are on my laptop) and potentially other software to serve your purpose. I would really like a demo on the Theme done in PS Elements for those that have that software. So see Tuesday February 7th, usual time and place. “There is a Photo in everything, you just have to find it!!!” The freshest issue of the f-16 newsletter is online for current members! Field TripsOur fieldtrippers group meets semi-regularly over the season for outings and photo-shoots! What do you get out of these trips? Experience, exposure, ideas, and a really good time. We usually foray out every 3rd Saturday of the month. Get out with the Fieldtrippers and shoot! There are so many events going on in and around Regina.
